Bethany of the Northwest’s Foundation Mission:

To encourage charitable gifts to Bethany of the Northwest, and to increase the awareness of Bethany’s unique care giving role in our community.

Bethany of the Northwest Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization was established in 1989 to develop financial support for Bethany of the Northwest. People in Snohomish County look to Bethany for the kind of care they want for their loved ones. Our main goal is to make sure that our residents have lives of dignity and purpose, in a safe and loving environment.

Our residents are grandparents, parents, husbands, and wives who require assistance to maintain the quality of life they deserve. Our residents live at Bethany Pacific, Bethany Silver Lake, and Bethany Silver Crest. They are senior citizens, disabled, and unable to live without 24/7 assistance, and often have health issues. Many of our residents have outlived their families – and their financial resources.

That’s where the Foundation comes in.

Bethany of the Northwest’s Foundation provides for the essential, non-medical needs of our residents when Medicaid (or their personal resources) will not cover the cost.

The Foundation helps Bethany of the Northwest continue a commitment to making our facilities as “home-like” and comfortable as possible for our residents.

Assist in developing and supporting educational services for our residents and our community. Programs like issues common to aging; senior homeowner assistance, disabilities, and rehabilitation. Bethany hosts “Elder Fair” every June to educate Snohomish County seniors on all the services available to them. The Foundation is also planning for new computer labs at our facilities, and much more.

The Foundation Board meets every second Thursday of the month (except July). The meetings are from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. in the 4th Floor Board Room at 916 Pacific Avenue, Everett, Washington

Bethany of the Northwest Foundation provides an opportunity to endow the services of Bethany of the Northwest into the future.
