There are many ways to support Bethany of the Northwest’s Residents

Your gifts may be unrestricted and used in the area of greatest need, or you may specify that your gift be targeted to a particular program or purpose. We also accept tax free donations using a retirement plans’ required minimum distribution.

Some people use annual giving to support the on-going need of Bethany, while others use gift planning to leave a legacy or make major gifts during their lifetime.

Others may choose to share the gift of time or talent by volunteering for a Bethany event or committee.

Honor Gifts

Honor gifts are used to pay respect to a family member, work associate, or a friend. The contributions are made in the name of an individual, and the honored individual is notified that an honor gift was given in their name. Honor gifts can also be made to celebrate a special event.

In Memory Gifts

In Memory Gifts are used to pay respect to a family member, friend, or associated that has passed away. The contributions are made in the name of the deceased individual, and the family of the individual is notified that a gift was made in their loved ones name.

How Does It Work?

Gifts of Appreciated Securities, Real Estate, Closely Held Stocks

These are alternatives to cash/credit card gifts. These gifts generate a double tax benefit. Donors receive an income tax deduction for the full fair market value of the property, while avoiding capital gains taxes. Please call the Foundation for more information.

You can give to the Bethany Legacy Scholarship which benefits employees who are seeking a career in the nursing field.

A simple intention in your Will/Estate can make a tremendous difference in the lives of many after your passing. Over the years, Bethany has been blessed with Estate Gifts that have left a legacy to help others for years to come. The Dignity Project

The Bethany Dignity Project allows Bethany of the Northwest, a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit corporation, to provide goods and services that honor, respect, and provide for the quality of life for our residents. We do this by spending 100% of donations on our residents.

Currently, over 70% of our residents depend on Medicaid & Medicare.

You may designate what item(s) are to be purchased with your donation or if you prefer we will purchase what is most needed.
